Weiqiao Textile attaches great importance to green development. In terms of optimizing energy structure, it utilizes renewable energy such as photovoltaics, and continuously expands the use of green energy in production. In terms of strengthening technology transformation, Weiqiao Textile has built three green and intelligent factories, which have successfully obtained the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) certification and was included in the list of 2020 National Green Factory of China. In the future, Weiqiao Textile will continue to transform and upgrade existing assets, strive to achieve full intelligentization during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, continue to promote the construction of "Digital Weiqiao", and promote the digitalization and intelligentization of enterprise. As for the development of circular economy, Weiqiao Textile will continue to construct a green ecological chain, build recycled cotton workshops, recycle fibers, maximize the use of manufacturing materials, and turn waste into treasure. In terms of carbon neutrality, in order to speed up the development of the "Dual Carbon" strategic plan, Weiqiao Textile has initiated the cooperation with China National Textile and Apparel Council Social Responsibility Office, joined the "Climate Stewardship 2030" of China National Textile And Apparel Council, and released the "Dual Carbon" goal, striving to achieve carbon peak in 2023, and achieving carbon neutrality within its own operation by 2049. At the 2021 Climate Innovation Summit, Weiqiao Textile was awarded the 30·60 China Fashion Brand for Carbon Neutralization Acceleration.
